Autumn Holiday Camp Great Fun
The autumn holiday camp for juniors was held on 21-22 April 2008. It was attended by some 20 children (11 boys and 9 girls) on both days. Fun was the focus with plenty of tennis oriented games. Byron Muir, a professional fitness trainer, commenced the camp with 60 minutes of exercises and advice on how to develop core strength and importantly how to warm down with stretching.
Trevor was assisted by Foster Ofati, the local FSCTA men’s singles champion. Foster focused on stroke development and match play with the more advanced players.
Time trials for the boys were run to determine their mobility and speed. All the boys performed well with Cooper Woods the stand out athlete with Rory Munt performing best for his age group in the time trial.

A lucky prize of a Prince 03 Hybrid junior racquet was won by Grace Plevey.
One hour coaching lessons were won by Henry, Charlotte and one other.
